Victim Services
The Idaho Sheriffs' Association (ISA) manages statewide victim's services by working with Appriss Inc. to maintain computer interfaces with jail booking systems throughout Idaho and the Idaho Department of Correction to automatically notify registered users of an offender's incarceration status. If the offender is released the registered user automatically receives a phone call or email notifying them that the offender has been released from jail or prison. In addition, the ISA in consort with the Idaho Supreme Court has implemented a court notification module that automatically notifies registered users of an offender's court appearance. Please click on the link below to register if you wish to be notified of an offender's status.

The state's already full prisons are getting more crowded as the inmate population grows at a significantly increased rate.

The inmate population has increased more in the past nine months than during the previous five years, according to numbers reported by the Idaho State Journal in a story published Thursday.

More than 370 inmates were added to Idaho prisons during the first nine months of the current fiscal year, which started in July. About 220 inmates were added to the state's prisons during the previous five years.
